Material

  • Polymorph
  • Boiling Water
  • Grease proof paper
  • Bowl
  • Spoon
  • Long tail LED
  • 3v Battery
  • Conductive Tape

Instruction

  • Place the grease proof paper on the surface so that the hot polymorph does not stick
  • Put the polymorph in a bowl
  • Pour hot water over it
  • When the polymorph goes clear stir with the spoon
  • Lift the polymorph out of the water with a spoon
  • Use your hands to model the polymorph
  • Take a long tail LED and form pelts around the LED
  • Wait for the flower to cool and go white or run it under cold water
  • Stick the red wire to the plus side of the battery with conductive tape
  • Stick the black wire to the negative side of the battery with conductive tape

Problem Solving

  • Be careful not to burn yourself by using the spoon. If you get a burnt then run the injury under cold water
  • If your hands are sticking to the polymorph wet them
